This girl was happy to let me snap her. She lived with her mom and dad and sister on the plateau, in a black yak yurt. She was a patient pose, too. Very bright, I believe...

it looks like you copied this off the pages of National Geographic. Perhaps you could sell it to them.

This is beautiful too. Perhaps bumping up the contrast a little bit would make the shot a bit more 'punchy'. Lovely work overall. :)

no way, man, tried that already... I have others, I made a CD-ROM with over 300 pictures, mostly of Tibet and Xinjiang...

there just was no sun that day, I already bumped up the contrast as much as I could, without entering into altering the original quality of the light that day... It was cloudy and cool...
:iconfulcanelli:
no, i wasn't accusing you! LOL. It just has that look of something they would publish.
:iconssssssssso:
national geographic only publishes you if you know their monkey's uncle... they have a very narrow regime of photogs... gotta be born into the fold, cough, cough. it's a paradise for hacks, man... ha, ha...

This looks like something from National Geographic.

great work. could use more contrast, but I read your response above that that wasn't an option. So given the circumstances, I enjoy the muted tones.
